I met Henry Kolln in the mid to late 1960's. I was in my early teens. My parents had a grocery store in St Paul, MN and Henry came in as a customer. I was bagging his groceries when he asked me to grab his wrist. I remember thinking that he was a crazy old man and thought I would go with it. I grabbed his wrist and was on my knees in a second. I had no idea as to what just happened to me. Henry told me he used to be a wrestler and fought at carnivals when he was younger. He said he would take on anyone who would try to beat him. They would win money if they succeeded. He owned a small corner bar in St Paul, MN 55117 which I went to at least once with my father. He had some great stories that escape me at this moment. I would listen in awe as he told me about his past. He did show me how the wrist hold worked and I remember it to this day. In fact I still show people every now and then. It is a wonderful memory. RIP Henry.
